Worship Services:
Our church offers a regular worship service every Sunday, as well as the special seasonal services and other special services available on request.
Sunday Morning Worship
Service time is every Sunday morning at 10:30am in the Main Sanctuary. Church School classes are available for children/youth from nursery through High School ages.
Special Seasonal Services
Seasonal Worship services are held on Maundy Thursday (Tenebrae and Communion), Good Friday, Easter Sunday (Sunrise Service, and special Worship Service) and Christmas Eve. Please check the News for specific dates and times for the coming season.
Service of Healing
Healing services are scheduled throughout the year.
We offer this as a special time for you to talk quite directly with God about your own health or someone else's.
God can heal. God does heal. Sometimes we may want to tell God what needs healing, but not recognize all of our needs. For example, our bodies may become sick from working too hard. We pray for God to heal our bodies, but God wishes to heal our working too hard, because our bodies won't become healthy until our work habits become healthy.
Perhaps we are literally "sick from worry". We want God to heal our sickness, but God wants to heal our worry; God wants us to turn our entire life to God's care, with the result that we will not worry.
So in this service we invite you to talk with God about everything - family, work, how you feel about yourself. Do this whether you've come for healing for yourself or for someone else.
- Speak to God in Prayer.
- Then, be silent. Hear what God says to you.
- And watch for what God does in your life, and in the lives of those for whom you are concerned.
The ceremony, the symbols of oil, bread, and wine have for thousands of years, been symbols of God's grace - God's freely given support and nurture.
Accept them in that Spirit.

Worship Service Content and Format:
Participation:
Our worship services are structured to provide a variety of elements, and to involve members of the congregation as an active part of worship. This includes the use of lay-readers in presenting the Scriptures, and in leading the Prayers of the People
Family Focus:
Because of the belief that worship is of importance to family members of all ages, there is a special segment of the Worship service dedicated to the children. When that segment has completed, the children leave the sanctuary to attend their weekly Church School class.
Music:
Music forms a significant part of every worship service, typically including organ and piano selections by the Music Director, choral singing by the Choir and congregational singing of hymns from the United Church hymn-books, Voices United and More Voices. There are also regular musical contributions from various soloists and choral groups (duets, trios, quartets) from the congregation.
